As of counsel to the firm, Josh Kardisch litigates personal injury matters involving defective products, toxic substances, faulty sidewalks/roadways, motor vehicle accidents and animal attacks; claims of workplace discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, age, disability, pregnancy, whistle-blower status, retaliation, and sexual harassment; complex insurance issues, and; disputes between business entities.

Josh has been representing individuals and businesses before State and Federal courts (trial and appellate levels) and administrative agencies nationwide for 30 years. He also advises clients on proper workplace practices and programs designed to curtail litigation and he negotiates and prepares many types of business-related documents, such as employment handbooks, severance packages, non-compete clauses/restrictive covenants and partnership dissolution agreements.

For 20 years prior to joining Russo & Gould LLC, Josh was the managing partner of his own litigation firm. Between 1985 and 1996, Josh was an associate and a partner in a large national firm, where he defended pesticide, lead and asbestos exposure, environmental, product liability, insurance, commercial and labor law suits at the trial and appellate levels for small through Fortune 500 companies.

Josh H. Kardisch and Florina Altshiler Secure Reversal of $1.6 Million Verdict

On February 1, 2019, the Fourth Department issued a Decision in the matter of Flowers v. Harborcenter Development, LLC, et al., Docket No. CA 18-00261; Index No.: 802298/15, vacating $1.6 million of a $1.8 million jury verdict against our client, the defendants in this Erie County Labor Law 240 (1) case.

Cecil Floyd and Josh Kardisch Prevail on Plaintiff's Appeal Before the Second Department

On December 5, 2018, the Second Department issued a Decision and Order in the matter of Syed A. Shah v. Mo M. Rahman, et al. under Docket No. 2016-04719 which affirmed the Judgment of the Court below.
