Since receiving his law degree from St. John's University School of Law in 2009, Marcin has primarily worked in the areas of premises liability, general negligence, regulatory compliance, property and casualty defense and labor law.

Marcin has substantive experience in motion practice and appellate practice, including drafting and oral argument of motions and appeals. He has significant experience in alternative dispute resolution.

In addition, Marcin has also defended claims for benefits under ERISA group insurance plans. He also handles the firm's regulatory cases.

On March 18, 2021, Marcin Kurzatkowski obtained a summary judgment dismissal of the plaintiff's Labor Law 200 and 241(6) claims against a subcontractor at the construction site. The plaintiff alleged that he tripped and fell over a copper pipe that was left behind on the floor. Mr. Kurzatkowski represented the subcontractor that was responsible for providing carting and cleaning services at the construction site.

On September 28, 2018, Marcin J. Kurzatkowski obtained summary judgment on behalf of our client in the Sabrina Lee v. The City of New York, et al. matter in the Supreme Court - Kings County. Mr. Kurzatkowski represented a major bank with regards to the plaintiff's allegation that she sustained injuries when she tripped and fell on the sidewalk outside of a property in Brooklyn, New York.
