Congratulations to Senior Associate, Audrey D. Medd who secured a Judgment of Nonsuit against Plaintiff for her client which effectively dismissed the Plaintiff’s Complaint. Plaintiff now faces a difficult battle in the next four months if she decides to move to open the judgment as it is up to the Court’s discretion.  The matter involved a hit in the rear motor vehicle accident. The plaintiff, despite several attempts and due diligence on Audrey’s part, failed to appear for deposition. Accordingly, Audrey moved for nonsuit after the plaintiff’s failure to comply with discovery. Judge Karen Goodrow of the State of Connecticut, New London Superior Court granted Audrey’s Motion after oral argument for both sides. Congratulations Audrey on this victory!
