Legal cases involving medical issues require a strong grasp of how the body functions, how injuries impede those functions and what the prognoses and treatments look like. Attorneys need to know how to effectively evaluate medical records, depose doctors and more. Russo & Gould's David Gould and Josh Kardisch are on the panel for this NBI CLE program on September 30, 2021. 

David Gould will cover basic anatomy, physiology and common injuries from the head and spine down to hips and toes. He will provide an overview of key medical terminology, acronyms and jargon. Josh Kardisch will discuss what attorneys need to know about the medical perspective on pain assessment, syndromes and management, including physical versus mental pain and pain assessment tools.
